 The 'Fit 4 ALL' Workout

I designed this workout as a fun and effective way to increase energy levels and improve both mobility and general muscle tone.  When I put this routine together I considered factors that are important to me when I have a chance for my own training. 

I have a no nonsense approach to fitness.  So this class will be all of the following:

Balanced ( Exercises that improve cardiovascular fitness are just as important as exercises that tone the body.  We need to do both)

Fun (Routines are varied to prevent boredom and the atmosphere is light.  It's just us in the room.  If we make a mistake it's no big deal!)

Time efficient (If I only have one hour for exercise then I want to get the most out of my time.  I know you feel the same way.)

Sensible (We're too smart to waste our time on gimmicks.  If a move or an exercise makes sense I put it in the class if it doesn't I don't...simple!)

Half of the class focuses on exercises that increase cardiovascular fitness levels.  This means we raise our metabolism and burn calories!  Hurray!!

The other half of the class will be devoted to moves that tone muscles and yes we do abdominal exercises in each class!

We end with a good stretch for all muscles we worked.

My aim is to give you a good workout while leaving you feeling relaxed and calm when you leave the class.

I can not stress enough that:

  • This class is suitable for all fitness levels! You can do this class!

What you will need to bring with you:

  • Water

  • A towel

  • An exercise mat (two are available for use on a 'first come first serve' basis.)

  • Proper training shoes that offer good support.  (Indoor non-marking)

  • (optional) weights of 1-3 kilos  (Four sets of weights are available for use on a 'first come first serve' basis.)
